Description
The Cursed Crown is the royal crown of Aglarion. While publicly known as a symbol of kingship and victory over the satyrs, Signmonder suspects the “blessing” granted by the satyr lord was in fact a curse. The crown may carry a malignant enchantment that has shaped the fate of the royal line.
History
- Said to have been recovered when King Waldren defeated Satyr King Dazmag and rescued the queen.
- The official story calls it a blessing; Riccio and Signmonder suspect it is a lingering curse.
- Associated with the downfall of the prince and the exile of Father Lester.
- Currently sits upon the head of Queen Athena, symbolizing her reign even as its curse may be at work.
